The Mechanosynthesis Group is part of a multidisciplinary team that has received funding from NSF’s EFRI Program for research on building novel optical and photonic materials and devices by adopting the principles of origami to the micro- and nanoscales. This work is in collaboration with Prof. Max Shtein, Prof. Nick Kotov, Prof. Sharon Glotzer, and awesome paper artist Matt Shlian (www.mattshlian.com).
